You can sit outside with your dog on the patio in the summertime. It's easy to tether your dog near your table and out of the way of others. It's a friendly place, the food is good and reasonably priced. There's a nearby area where you an walk your dog discreetly out of the view of other diners. Highly recommended and don't miss the cherry pie!

Dogs on leashes are permitted on the patio. The staff is very friendly with dogs and usually have a treat ready. There is a cat on the property so keep a hold of your leash. During the day and early evening the bar is generally pretty quiet so there is plenty of room on the floor for dogs to relax. The bar sometimes has bands which are too loud for dogs and bring in larger crowds. I recommend checking the schedule.

We eat at Lu & Carl's nearly every week as its one of only two pet friendly restaurants in Brighton. The staff are great and the food is good - not first class but fine. Staff always bring a bowl of water for the woof and even dog treats.

What a great experience we had. Our dog was so welcomed at this beautiful waterfront restaurant. The patio area was 20 feet from the shore of Lake Superior, breathtaking view. The food OUTSTANDING. On the travel websites, it's a 5-star restaurant; I totally agree. Pricey but worth every penny.

At the Hopcat your dog can actually sit on the outside patio with you. No having to be tied up on the outside of the railing. They have picnic tables, round tables and comfy sitting areas where dogs are allowed. Their big draw is the 48 different beers they have but the food was very good as well. Apps, salads, burgers and more. Service was great and they were super-dog friendly.

This is a great place to get traditional Dutch food or a quick bite to eat. Both indoor and outdoor dining available. There are water bowls set outside the restaurant for pets, and it's a great place to walk your pet as well. We've been stopping here for years on our summer vacation. You could spend several hours here (with your pet in the car, windows rolled part-way down, parked in the shade of a tree). Many stores, and an incredible "Dutch Village" theme park to explore.
