Cafe du Monde is a fantastic place to grab a tasty treat! The beignets are FANTASTIC. Definitely the place to visit while in New Orleans. They have a railing all around their patio to tie your pets to, so bring your pup and find a table by the railing. This place is always packed, though, so you'll have to be patient!

Z'otz actually does not allow dogs unless you are outside. I was misled about this, and took my dog inside. After we sat on the couch for about a half hour, the barista said "sorry, you'll have to sit with your dog in the back" so I went to the back part of the cafe. Then I was told by another staff member "sorry, you'll have to take your dog to the back". Confused, I explained that I thought I was in the back and he said "no, you have to go in the back outside." I was not going to make my chihuahua sit outside when it was 40 degrees out so I left.
